Story

I am running the Great North Run 2022, in memory of my Grandma, G-unit as many of you will know was an absolute role model and has left an impact on most people she interacted with. Unfortunately,
my Grandma struggled with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF) which left her very short of breath and struggling to continue her very active lifestyle.

Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) is a condition in which the lungs become scarred and breathing becomes increasingly difficult. It's not clear what causes it, but it usually affects people who are around 70
to 75 years old, and is rare in people under 50. Several treatments can help reduce the rate at which IPF gets worse, but there's currently no treatment that can stop or reverse the scarring of the lungs.

I am hoping to raise funds for The Mary Clough Breath of Life Fund which is part of fundraising for Asthma + Lung UK.
